HTML email preview

Paste your email's HTML and see it at phone and desktop widths, with images on or off, its size against Gmail's clipping limit and images missing alt text.

Last updated 2026-10-21

0.9 KB of HTML, under the 102 KB at which Gmail clips a message.

0 images; 1 link.

What the preview checks

  • The layout at 375 pixels, a phone, and at 640 pixels, a desktop reading pane.
  • How it reads with images blocked, as many clients show it until the reader allows images.
  • Its size: Gmail clips HTML over 102 KB and hides the rest behind a link.
  • Images without alt text, links over plain http, and scripts or forms that mail clients drop.

Your HTML stays in your browser

Nothing you paste is sent anywhere. The preview is drawn in a sandboxed frame, so scripts in the HTML do not run and it cannot reach this page.

Questions people ask

Will my email look exactly like this in every inbox?
No. This is your browser's rendering, which is close to what most phones and Apple Mail show. Gmail rewrites some CSS, and Outlook on Windows draws HTML with Word, so test there before a large send.
Why does Gmail clip my email?
Gmail shows only the first 102 KB of a message's HTML and puts a 'View entire message' link after it. Anything below, including an unsubscribe link at the bottom, is hidden until the reader clicks.
Does the HTML I paste get uploaded?
No. The preview runs in your browser; nothing you paste is sent to Sendly or stored.
