Pay for what you send.
Nothing else.
Start free with 5,000 emails a month. After that it is $1.00 per 1,000 emails you actually send, and less as your volume grows. No monthly fee, no per-seat fee, no per-contact fee, and no plan to outgrow.
Everything you need to get started. No credit card required.
Volume pricing that drops as you send more. No monthly fee and no plan to outgrow.
High-volume or regulated sending that needs limits set by a human.
The rate drops as you send more.
Each band is charged at its own rate. Crossing 50,000 emails does not re-price the 50,000 below it — only the emails above the line move to the cheaper rate.
| Emails per month | Rate |
|---|---|
| First 50,000 | $1.00 per 1,000 emails |
| 50,001 – 250,000 | $0.70 per 1,000 emails |
| Above 250,000 | $0.50 per 1,000 emails |
What a month actually costs.
Three worked bills, with the arithmetic shown. If you were expecting 100,000 emails to cost $70, read the middle one — that is volume pricing, and this is not that.
- 10,000 emails
- $10.00
- 100,000 emails
- $85.00
- 1,000,000 emails
- $565.00
All inside the first band, at $1.00 per 1,000.
The first 50,000 at $1.00 per 1,000, then 50,000 at $0.70 per 1,000.
50,000 at $1.00, then 200,000 at $0.70, then 750,000 at $0.50 per 1,000.
A metered bill you can put a ceiling on.
Usage-based pricing is only comfortable if a runaway loop cannot empty your account. Set a sending limit for each category — transactional, campaigns, workflows and inbound — and Sendly emails you at 80% of that limit and again the moment it is reached. Reaching a limit stops sending in that category; it does not keep going and bill you for it.

Questions people actually ask.
- Is there a monthly fee?
- No. There is no monthly fee, no per-seat fee and no per-contact fee. You pay $1.00 per 1,000 emails you actually send, and less than that as your volume grows.
- How does the volume pricing work?
- It is graduated, which means each band is charged at its own rate rather than the whole month being re-priced. Sending 100,000 emails in a month costs $85.00: the first 50,000 at $1.00 per 1,000, then 50,000 at $0.70 per 1,000.
- What is included in the free tier?
- 5,000 emails per calendar month, shared across transactional sends, campaigns, workflows and inbound mail. No card is required, and the full REST API, SDKs and webhooks are included. Email sent on the free tier carries a small Powered by Sendly badge.
- What happens when I reach the free limit?
- Sending pauses until the next calendar month, or until you add a card. Nothing is deleted and nothing is billed by surprise: we never charge a free project for going over.
- Can I cap what I spend?
- Yes. You can set your own sending limit for each category — transactional, campaigns, workflows and inbound — and we alert you at 80% of a limit and again when it is reached. Reaching a limit stops sending in that category rather than running up a bill.
- Do I pay for contacts I store?
- No. Contacts, segments, templates, workflows and domains are not metered. The only thing metered is email you send, plus address verification if you use it.
- What does address verification cost?
- The first 500 address checks each month are free, then $0.003 per address. It is billed separately from sending, so verifying a list does not eat into your email volume.
- Which currencies can I be billed in?
- USD, EUR or GBP. You choose at checkout, and every rate on this page is quoted in USD.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Your final invoice covers only the emails you already sent, and the project keeps working on the free tier. Contacts, templates, workflows, domains and API keys are all untouched.
